The product TX EVENT Pilot is a special PDA device including the TX EVENT Cityguide system where functions for cityguide, navigation, internet access and mobile phone calls are possible by a mobile phone network. By this concept a 24 hours internet access at any place is available and also a WLAN internet access if the hotel has defindes the PDA in their WLAN environment. All services can be charged individual. Phone calls can be started over the GSM network or over IP. The benefit for the guest or the customer is the possible connection of different information systems like offline cityguide, online internet, navigation, database and phone service. A special option is available for the TX EVENT Pilot.
Option: Landline-Routing for mobile PDA phone calls
For the hotel guest:
- All TX EVENT PDA phone calls will be transferred to landline calls (Transfer over the hotel telephone system with direct room accounting)
- Saving phone costs for overseas calls (normally an international hotel guest have to pay for his mobile phone calls international tariffs if he make international phone calls to his home telephone or to other countries)
- Saving phone costs for national calls (normally an international hotel guest have to pay for his mobile phone calls international tariffs if he make national phone calls in the visitor country)
- Standby 24 hours and saving phone cost for room calls (in case of a call to the telephone of the hotel room a ring is beginning in the room and on the PDA mobile phone and the cost for the mobile call are also based to landline tariffs)
For the hotel:
- Many guests make their phone calls with the own mobile phone and don´t use the telephone in hotel room
- In offering attractive tariffs international hotel guests can save phone cost for international calls and the hotel can increase the turnover for their telephone system. The tariff can be defined by the hotel management itself.
- Additional service for guests (Cityguide, Navigation System, Internet und mobile phone in one device)
